Here at Fit PT, we are A “Cash Practice,” meaning we are Out of Network with Insurance. BUT before you panic and exit this page, PLEASE READ ON, because it does NOT mean that insurance can’t support your physical therapy care with us…it actually can!

As an out of network practice, we can provide you with several benefits compared to many in network providers, such as, lower costs, longer visits, higher quality care, and opportunities to lead your health care experience. Rather than allowing insurance companies to determine what kind of care you receive (including how much and how often), we put you in charge of your experience & decision making. Sounds like a great deal, right?

If you are interested in seeking support in your Fit PT physical therapy care via insurance, you can submit a superbill. A superbill is a medical receipt that is completed by your physical therapist after each session, indicating exactly what body areas were treated, what billing codes were applied, and what you paid for your service. Fit PT will email you a copy of this superbill within 3 business days of your appointment. You can submit this receipt directly to insurance to go towards your out of network deductible and benefits. Very easy to do and many of our clients experience great benefits from submission.

Please keep in mind that every insurance policy is unique and may offer different benefits and coverage. It is the client’s sole responsibility to discuss these details with their insurance policy holder. Fit PT is NOT responsible for any form of communication with insurance providers.

Call your insurance and tell them you are seeing an out of network provider for physical therapy care. Ask them what a superbill submission will do for you, based on your specific health plan. Easy!
