Pelvic Floor Workshop

This workshop is all about learning about the female pelvic floor! Dr. Kaitlin will help you learn exactly what the pelvic floor is, how to properly find and engage these muscles (aka how to kegal properly!), and whether kegals are actually good or bad for YOU. That's right, they aren't good for everybody. You will gain a better understanding of how the pelvic floor changes with pregnancy & postpartum, as well as during common pelvic floor dysfunctions such as urinary leaking, abdominal separation, pelvic pain and much more!

Breath Workshop

Let’s gather together to exercise our lungs and discuss this HOT topic of breathing! We will discuss various breath strategies and how they impact our body. We will specifically highlight proper diaphragmatic breathing, which is helpful for many bodily functions, including: Stress & Pain relief, Optimal lung capacity, Detoxification, Immune system support, Core strength. With the current state of COVID19, there is no doubt that increased stress, anxiety and use of face coverings greatly impact our breathing strategies and quality. This is not a mask vs. no mask discussion, but rather a realistic conversation regarding strategies to best care for your lungs, breath and body’s health from a physiological view.
