Dr. Jen has 10 years of experience working as a Physical Therapist, and is passionate about helping others see and achieve their optimal health potential! As a young woman, she became very overweight and stressed with managing the demands of work and studies. As a PT student, she was able to take action to embrace her goals of modeling a healthy lifestyle. Dr. Jen set forth to change lifestyle factors, such as exercise and healthy eating, to better manage her stress, and to break through the barriers and limiting beliefs she had previously set for herself. Dr. Jen lost a substantial amount of weight and went from from obese to healthy. She now enjoys exercise (such as running), has greatly improved chronic GI issues, reduced chronic pain, and is now a busy supermom of two littles! Dr. Jen has personally evolved and experienced how exercise can be medicine, and she enjoys sharing similar experiences with her patients.
Dr. Jen has a passion for pre-natal and post-natal fitness and improving women’s access to healthcare. She loves working with women who, much like herself, didn’t know where or how to start with developing an active lifestyle. She also has a background working with neuromuscular re-education and hypermobility conditions.
Dr. Jen has a love for nature, outdoor recreation, and quality time with her family. She has a hobby farm in Cannon Falls, MN where she loves to be active with her two toddler boys and husband.
